MONKÉ SKATEBOARD SCHOOL

The Monké Skateboard School will teach the basic of skateboarding in a number of small classes (6 -8) students. These classes will be held for both beginners and intermediate skateboards. Our instructors are certified by the national skateboard certificate program and are certified in Standard First Aid & CPR.

The purpose of the clinic is to teach the fundamental and innovative skateboarding techniques and to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.

We teach the SKATZ © Skateboard Teaching System. The SKATZ Program is a dynamic progressive teaching system for children and youth with an emphasis on FUNdamentals and safety.

The SKATZ Program consists of:

  • FUNdamentals are key!
  • Games and Drills are fun!
  • Park etiquette and flow are included!
  • Equipment selection and care is primary!
  • Lifestyle awareness information geared for kids!
  • Detailed progression charts for each of five levels.
  • Report cards.
